Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SyncPle and syncple.pages.dev collect, why, and how to reach us. Controller: otacosystem. Contact: syncpleadmin@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Website. Pages you visit, download clicks, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, time). We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
• Contact form. Name, email, and message. Submissions go through FormSubmit to syncpleadmin@gmail.com so we can reply.
• Downloads & updates. The installer is served by our Admin host (Render). The site may show version, file size, and SHA256 for the current Setup. Those requests can include your IP in host logs.
• Purchases. License checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record). They process payment details. We receive order/license metadata needed to fulfill and support your key — not your full card number.
• The Windows app (when online). About once a minute SyncPle sends a heartbeat: a local machine ID, app version, OS/GPU/RAM and monitor count, license status plus a hash of the key (not the key itself), and coarse health metrics (startup/crash counters). We do not collect Windows usernames, hostnames, IP/MAC from the app, or file paths to your videos.

Video files you play stay on that PC. SyncPle does not upload playlists or media.

Why we use it

To deliver the trial and installer, activate and bind a license to one PC, send updates, answer support mail, prevent abuse, and keep the product working. Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR apply): contract (download, license, support), legitimate interests (security, product health), and consent where a checkout flow asks for it.

Processors & hosting

Cloudflare (this site), Render (Admin API and Setup files), Google Firebase Realtime Database (device records via our Admin), Lemon Squeezy (payments and license keys), and FormSubmit (contact mail). Each has its own privacy policy. Data may be processed outside your country, including the United States.

Retention

Device heartbeats stay while the install is in use and for a reasonable period after last seen, so we can support licenses and revoke stolen keys. Contact emails are kept as long as the thread is useful. Purchase records follow Lemon Squeezy’s retention and tax rules. Server logs are rotated by the host.

Your choices

You can use the trial and most playback offline after activation. Heartbeats only run when the PC is online. To ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of device or support data we hold, email syncpleadmin@gmail.com with your machine ID (shown in the app) or order email. You may also have rights to complain to a data protection authority. Payment data requests go through Lemon Squeezy.

Children

SyncPle is sold for venues and operators, not directed at children under 16. Do not send us personal data about a child.

Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the effective date. For material changes we will also note them on the SyncPle site.
